DMC Apprentice Pre-season release 3

Meet Shaun, Arisya and Ifah
This week, we caught up with Shaun, Arisya and Ifah and found out more about them.

Meet Shaun
Name: Loy Yun Peng Shaun
Age: 17
Occupation: Stand up comedian
Team: Dot.Matrix



Shaun is a class rep in the DMC course and has been on the job for one and a half years so far. Its a responsibility that comes naturally to him - to have fun while assuming his role.

"Aiyaa, its no big thing laaa"

Talented in many ways, Shaun has a knack for being the funny man who tickles everyone's funny bone. Humour helps clients feel at ease during meetings, something worth noting in a business sense.

Q:Do you think from being a class rep, you have gained any advantages over the rest of the competitors?
A: No, it's just a responsibility, not an advantage or an authority.

Q: What can your team expect from you?
A: Humour and creative ideas.

Q: Why should Rajan hire you?
A: Because I'm a motivator who hardly gets down, so I can encourage the team with jokes and great ideas.



Meet Arisya
Name: Arisya Sulaiman
Age: 19
Occupation: Proffesional musician
Team: Paperbagg



Arisya is a hardworking individual who has successfully made it onto the honour roll twice within two semesters in the DMC course. She is en route to earning scholarships and wants would love to go overseas given the opportunity.

"It's heart breaking seeing others go abroad to study, I want to go too."

Determination is key in getting yourself somewhere in business. Arisya has several goals in life she wants to accomplish.

Q: What's the most outstanding feature about you?
A: I can talk to plants. I know how they feel, that's why I refuse to eat them. BOYCOTT VEGGIES.

Q: Why would your group members want you to be Project Manager?

A: Because life is short.

Q: Why should Rajan hire you?

A: Because I'll rub his belly for good luck.



Meet Ifah
Name: Nuratifah Mhd Yunos
Age: 17
Occupation: CEO of a tudong production company
Team: Paperbagg



Nuratifah, or Ifah as she is known, is dedicated to her cause - helping Muslim women find their right tudong. She commits herself to coming up with different designs to diversify the current range of tudongs available. But behind the tudong lies a person who is willing to have fun and enjoy herself.

"Hahaa, I really enjoy having fun too!"

A balance of commitment and fun is factor that encourages employees to stay with a company.

Q: What would you say is your selling factor?
A: Mysterious-ness. People always wonder what's underneath my tudong. Ahhaa. That's why people talk to me.

Q: What do you think you can be remembered for?

A: The different coloured tudongs I have.?

Q: Why should Rajan hire you?
A: I have all tudongs to suit everyone regardless of size.? (get what I mean.?) Hahahaa.
